Is there a better feeling than being inside of your cozy home, nestled on the couch watching some pigskin with friends and family? Columbus might just be one of the best places to live during the fall when football season is in full swing. If you were to drive on the 670 or 270 freeway during football season, you won’t see many cars on the road. Columbus is obsessed with the Ohio State Buckeyes and the majority of the city tunes into all of their home and road games.
The long awaited kickoff for the 2014 season opener is finally here. While the Buckeyes won’t open the season at the Horseshoe, Columbus residents will be glued to their television sets to see OSU take on Navy on August 30th at noon. Even though Braxton Miller is out this season, there are still high hopes for Ohio State football to win the Big Ten. Freshman quarterback J.T Barrett and head coach Urban Meyer are ready for the 2014 and their winning season. Ohio State’s first game is against Navy this Saturday, August 30th, 2014.
