Hollywood Casino Adds Diversity to the City of Columbus

The new Hollywood Casino!

At the beginning of October, the $400 million Hollywood Casino will be opening its doors in Ohio’s capital city. The 475,000 square foot facility will have 3,000 slot machines, a poker room and other table games. It also has event space for four restaurants.

The casino that is west of downtown Columbus is expected to draw 3 million visitors per year. It will be the first casino in the Columbus area.

The new casino hopes to provide more jobs for Columbus residents and further stimulate the economy in Central Ohio. Penn National expects the casino to average 10,000 visitors a day.
