Blue Jackets Game
The Blue Jackets have been extremely hot in the month of December and January barely losing any games! The CBJ have climbed into playoff contention and got the city of Columbus excited about their hometown team! Cheer on Ohio’s NHL team against the Florida Panthers at 7:00pm on Saturday, February 1st at Nationwide Arena. This will be the only home game in February for the Jackets due to the winter Olympics.
Gallery Hop
Gallery Hop occurs every first Saturday of each month, thousands of visitors converge on High Street in the Short North to see new art exhibits and add to their growing collections. With dozens of galleries and non-traditional exhibit spaces, it’s Columbus’ favorite night of the month to celebrate art. Though many shops are open earlier, the Gallery Hop officially starts at 4PM and runs to 10PM with restaurants and bars staying open considerably later.
Kings of Leon: 2014 Mechanical Bull Tour
Kings of Leon is visiting Value City on February 18th, 2014 at 7:30pm. The band’s early music was an upbeat blend of Southern rock and blues influences, but it has gradually expanded throughout the years to include a variety of genres and a more alternative, arena rock sound.
