NHL All-Star Game Weekend Activities in Columbus

The NHL All-Star Winter Park presented by Worthington Industries will be the hub of activities this weekend, located in the arena district.

A main attraction for the weekend will be the Scotts Miracle-Gro Community Rink, an NFL sized outdoor rink that will be open to the public for skating. Admission will be $5 and will include skate rentals. Times are limited, with a complete schedule of public skate times found here.

Kids will also love the Snow Slide presented by Huntington that will stand 34-feet tall and stretching 175-feet down Nationwide Blvd. More winter fun activities can be found at the all day Kid Zone Featuring Blue Jackets Replica Locker Room presented by AEP.

Friday January 23rd will mark the start of the 3-day NHL Fan Fair located at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. As the official fan festival of the All-Star Weekend, the festival will include games and attractions, special appearances, trophy and memorabilia displays, and much more!

The day will conclude with the NHL All-Star Draft presented by Draftkings, as captains Nick Foligno and Jonathan Toews will begin their selection process at 8:00 p.m.

Saturday morning will feature the NHL All-Star 5K Race, a 3.1-mile road race that will start at 9 a.m. outside of Nationwide Arena. The race is limited to the first 4,000 runners and walkers, so make sure to sign up today!

In the evening Saturday, Nationwide Arena will host the NHL All-Star Skills Competition with the doors opening at 5:00 p.m. Fans will be able to witness the best of the best face-off of shooting and speed skills competition. The NHL All-Star Weekend will wrap up on Sunday, January 25, with the 2015 Honda All-Star Game beginning at 5:00 p.m., with the rest of the activities finishing up at 10:00 p.m.
