1. Catch a Columbus Clippers Game!

With one of the best minor league stadiums in the country, catching a game at Huntington Park in the Downtown Arena District is an absolute must! Additionally, the Clippers have won the Governors Cup a good amount lately so you are certain to see some quality baseball.

2. Grab Lunch at the North Market.

The North Market is home to dozens of unique, independent merchants and farmers who deliver personal and personable service every day of the week. With over 35 different options for food, you will be extremely pleased with a healthy meal that you can take outside while enjoying the nice weather as well.

3. Check out the Short North’s Gallery Hop.

The first weekend of every month, the shops on High Street in the Short North stay open late and Columbus residents flock downtown to walk down one of Columbus’ most happening streets perusing the stores, checking out the restaurants, and enjoying the nice weather.

4. The Columbus Zoo.

The Columbus Zoo is home to over 9,000 animals representing over 700 species and sees over 2.3 million visitors annually. It was ranked number one best zoo in 2012 by Besties Readers Choice. Spending a day with family and friends at the Columbus Zoo is an amazing spring activity in central Ohio.

5. Walk Down the Scioto Mile.

If you’ve never been, the Scioto Mile is a beautiful riverfront destination in the heart of Downtown Columbus. Spend a day (or evening) walking from the vibrant Arena District to the natural beauty of the Whittier Peninsula through an integrated system of parks, boulevards, bikeways and pedestrian paths.
