Schottenstein Real Estate Group Communities Give Back for the Holidays

Each year, we encourage our communities to give back during the holiday season. Charities that our communities give back to range from local area food pantries to animal shelters, which all need help, especially during the holidays. Here’s how each community is giving back this year.

Parkway Village

Parkway Village has already set up a Salvation Army “Angel Tree” with the names of area boys and girls in need. Residents may pick up a “Angel Tag” off the tree, and purchase a gift and return it the Parkway Village office before Dec 10th.  We’ll see the Salvation Army gets the packages in time for Santa!

Also, the office is conducting a Food Drive that will benefit area families in need through the Mid-Ohio Food Bank. Donations accepted thru December 20th at the clubhouse office.

Mason Grand

Mason Grand is participating in the Channel 5 Cares Coat Drive that supports St. Vincent de Paul’s effort to donate coats for needy families this winter.

Last year, the drive distributed 1,752 coats throughout Greater Cincinnati and the goal for this year is 2,000 coats. If you’d like to donate a new or gently used coat to the drive, coats will be collected through January 11.

Grand at Florence

If you’ve ever been to Grand at Florence, you’ll know that the community is very animal friendly. With that in mind, the community held a pet supply drive to support the Boone County Animal Shelter. The community gathered pet food and supplies to help support the cats and dogs housed at the animal shelter.

Grand at Polaris

The residents and staff of Grand at Polaris held a food drive from August to September for the Byron Saunders Foundation’s One Meal at a Time program. This local non-profit organization provides food on Thanksgiving for needy families around Central Ohio.

Grove City Summit

Grove City Summit just finished up their Annual Food Drive on November 21. Each year the community helps by gathering food for the Mid-Ohio Food Bank and its 600 partner agencies for Thanksgiving. The community is extending the food drive to the end of the year.

We’d like to wish a happy and healthy new year to all of our residents, staff and friends! We can’t wait to see what 2017 has in store for all of our communities and new developments.
