Shadowbox Live
Located in The Brewery District, Shadowbox Live is a one-of-a kind, live, sketch-comedy show that resembles SNL and the late MADtv. Sit back as the stage is filled with over-the-top performances, props, awesome lighting and a live band. Their shows vary throughout the seasons, but one of the highlights is The Best of Shadow Box Live. The Best of Shadow Box Live infuses scenes or sketches from various shows. From The Wizard of Oz to shotgun weddings, you are going to be in for a wild ride of fun.
The Funny Bone
Located in Easton Town Center, The Funny Bone is a comedy club that features standup acts from across the nation. During amateur night, local talents are put to the test to see if they can get the crowd hype or fizzle when the crowd yawns from their lousy jokes. Viewers can purchase tickets ahead of time when their favorite comedian decides to take the stage. Past celebrities that have dazzled Columbus crowds with their comedic genius include Drew Carey, Dave Chappelle and Bobby Lee.
Late Night Slice
Located on the north end of The Short North, Late Night Slice is a pizzeria like no other. Try some of their bold-titled pizza flavors such as Spicy Ass Pepperoni or try a more adventurous treat like their Pizza Dawg. Then sit back and relax on their outdoor patio and watch a movie on the big screen projector. During weekends, Late Night Slice operates until 4am, so you won’t have to worry about your midnight pizza cravings ever again.
Columbus Clippers
To all of you hot dog craving, sports fanatics out there, check out a Columbus Clippers Minor League Baseball game. The Clippers stadium is located in the Arena District at Huntington Park. Grab your giant foam fingers, baseball caps, peanuts, and cheer with joy. If you’re lucky, you could end up catching a baseball from one of the star players.
