Schottenstein Real Estate Group Gives Away OSU Tickets to Facebook Fans

In most cities around the country, the fall season symbolizes cooler weather and the leaves changing colors. During autumn the most popular colors that come to mind in Columbus, Ohio for residents is scarlet and gray. The Ohio State Buckeyes seem to have the hearts of everyone in the capital city.

The Schottenstein Real Estate Group is no exception. Not only does the company live and breathe scarlet and gray, they realize the passion that the city has for the University. To leverage their social media and reward Facebook fans in the Buckeye State, the SRE Group ran a contest giving away an amazing pair of 45-yard line seats to the Ohio State football season opener against Akron on September 3, 2011.

Ohio State’s Stadium, known as “The Horseshoe” is one of the premier stadiums in all of college football. When a fan attends a game at the 105,000 plus seat stadium in Columbus, the experience is unforgettable. Dave Johnston, a resident of Hilliard Park in Hilliard, Ohio, never experienced an Ohio State game in person at “The Shoe.” “I was in complete shock when I found out I won the tickets and couldn’t have been more excited,” Said Johnston. “What an amazing giveaway from an amazing company.”

Ohio State handily defeated Akron 42-0 on the first Saturday of September to start the season off on the right track. Dave Johnston sent a message to the Schottenstein Real Estate Groups Facebook page during the game. “Thank you SRE Group!! I won two 45-yard line tickets, which allowed me to go to my 1st EVER OSU GAME!!!!!!!”
